Thanks for sharing your story with us Jasmine. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Well, First off, I use to be a dancer at a nightclub, which is where this all started, I use to work the pole so well and ladies use to be so amazed and who ask me to teach them how to do this and I would. So I started to come up with a plan as far as owning my own dance studio which is still in the making… however I ended up just doing pole parties and offering classes while renting out different spaces until in 2016 I found a nice building and these two nice ladies who was able to work with me and from there I started doing pole parties every so often… promoting on social media getting my business out there so that it could basically work for itself and what I mean is like rather me paying to rent the spot out the girls who booked “pole party ” would basically pay for the my time and the space. So from 2016 to 2018, I continue to do pole classes and pole parties, which was doing very good, then I got pregnant end of 2018 so there was a stop. But as soon as I had the baby I went right back to what I love. So now that it is 2020 I’m finally a full-time pole instructor as well as I still get ladies to book pole parties which are definitely a hit. I’m still looking to one day own my own dance studio which has always been a dream.
What made me go ahead and start this type of business was because I’m good at what I do and very experience and very detail when it comes to teaching my girls. I like to dance so that was definitely an add on to doing pole tricks as well. I love to teach them to love their bodies and become comfortable in their own skin which is very important for me. My pole business is bigger than just learning pole techniques and dances, I truly want the women to gain confident within themselves. I can say I’ve definitely come such a long way with this pole business and I’m thankful I was about to somehow keep going after I had my baby.
Has it been a smooth road?
No, I wouldn’t say smooth road I did have months where business was slow which is what sometimes happen but I didn’t give up I kept pushing and finding new ways to fix things instead of throwing in the towel but more so learning lessons which made me so much better .

Well I specialize in Pole which is still like a pole fitness but learning pole tricks and how to work the pole. I’m most proud of how much good feedback and reviews I get back from the ladies and how they want to come back and spread the word about my business. What sets me apart from others is that I really take the time out to show them how to be confident and how to love their self no matter their body shape, letting them know to take their time things don’t come over night with learning.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Yes, most definitely Atlanta is really a hot spot especially for the girls who want to work in the strip clubs and want to like get some knowledge on learning pole tricks and dancing on the pole. Yes, I would recommend them to because this is a big city with limitless opportunity.
