Meet Jazmine Rochelle of Bloom Women in South Atlanta

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jazmine Rochelle.

Jazmine, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Adopted at three weeks old, I was the product of a drug abused mother and an absent father. Growing up in a low socioeconomic home, battling weight issues as a child, having a handicapped parent, parent death, a failed engagement, and rejection are a few issues I’ve had to overcome over the years, which has to lead me to live out my life’s mantra of BLOOM (become. live. overcome. obtain. mature.)

Now, I am an educator, entrepreneur, author, and the founder of an up and coming women’s organization called Bloom.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It has not been a smooth road, I’ve had to overcome poverty, fear, low-self esteem, and small thinking to get to where I am today.

Bloom Women – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Bloom is a women’s movement and organization that educates, empowers and inspires emerging and evolving women to BLOOM (BECOME, LIVE, OVERCOME, OBTAIN, and MATURE) as they flourish personally and professionally.

Our four pillars are faith, family, femininity, and fulfillment.

Creating a community for emerging and evolving women to flourish personally and professionally.

We are known for being a connection point for emerging and evolving women.

We are most proud of how we’ve been able to connect different women from different generations, ethnicities, backgrounds, and walks of life.

What sets us apart from other organizations is that we don’t cater to just one generation, we welcome them all.

What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success to me is defined as giving life and everything you are purposed to do your best while being fulfilled. Money does not equate to success, moments created, remembered, shared, and experienced denote success.
