Today we’d like to introduce you to Jeffrey Williamson.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Jeffrey Lynn Media was started in the fall of 2012 on the campus of Elon University. What initially began as designing flyers and taking senior portraits for friends eventually moved to content work/visuals and marketing materials for local businesses and organizations. Since then, projects have spanned from weddings, engagements, music packaging and concert coverage for Grammy award-winning musical acts.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been fairly smooth. I have had a few hiccups with convincing myself that I was actually good and taking myself seriously. My biggest struggle was self-doubt and being a novice in owning a business.

Jeffrey Lynn Media Photography is a photography and multimedia content creation company. We create imagery and design options for clients in varying industries. We specialize in photo and video production/editing for weddings, engagements, parties, seniors, families, artists and live events.
What I am most proud of is that we represent everyone. No project is too big or too small for us. Our goal is to create memories and lasting moments for our clientele. We are most known for our coalesced aesthetic by incorporating graphic design elements within our photography work.
What sets us apart with our work is that we don’t discriminate. We serve everyone. We have had countless same-sex couples approach us for wedding coverage because they learned that their other choices for photo coverage did not want to be affiliated with them. We do this for the culture.
