Today we’d like to introduce you to Jerome Holmes.
Jerome, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Around January of 2019, I hit a bump in the road which steered me in a different direction from the path I was headed in before now I was known as the baseball player with major league dreams. I made it all the way to college ball before veering off into what I am doing now which is basically tapping into each and every talent I’ve been blessed with! When I came up with the Plenty2Prove Movement, I was sitting in my room thinking what was next and I decided that P2P also known as plenty2prove was the message I wanted to push! The reason being is because no matter where you are in life, whether you’re a single hard working mom or an aspiring entrepreneur, you have something to prove if not to someone else then yourself. After coming up with the concept I hit the ground running first Came the clothing line then I started to manage a couple of Rap Artist and now I’m actually about to make my own musical debut with my upcoming Ep “From Bags To Billboards”
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
When speaking on my journey all I can say is I’m blessed, it hasn’t been the hardest but it definitely hasn’t been easy, I try to take everything in stride and persevere with my head high! No matter what comes my way! I’ve been doubted, I’ve Repeatedly been notified of the odds of me making it big in the music industry as well as fashion but I’ve never let anything stand in my way I was raised to go get what I want and not stop until I get it.
Plenty2Prove™️ – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
Plenty2Prove is an entire Movement. We have apparel which is the main focus and foundation of the entire operation, then we have the music side of the Business where we specialize in artist management. What sets us apart is that we will never stop growing. In the near future, I can see us expanding and becoming a label representing multiple talented artists, I can also see us branching off into community work and starting a foundation to promote positivity and progression into the youth. It’s no real ceiling for the company if you ask me, we’re going to go as far as the BigLord permits.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
Hosting my very own Pop-Up Shop, promoting both my Clothing Brand and my Music. It was a major stepping stone for me. The event was tagged #SauceInDaSouth and it featured clothing lines from other hard-working entrepreneurs one that goes by the name of loyalty and nothing else and another known as triple beam clothing! This event featured other hot unheard artists such as GeeRowe out of Selma Alabama and fast money Quelle out of the city of Atlanta and lastly a group who goes by the name 3k. This event was co-hosted by Mainstream Phenomenon Joe Gifted
