Today we’d like to introduce you to Jessica A. (McPhail) Ross and Althea H. McPhail.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Jessica and Althea. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
McPhail Studios was born out of our family’s 20 plus years of ministry and production experience with a vision of an entertainment country club that provides a family-friendly atmosphere. We created McPhail Studios to be a safe space to foster our member’s creative desires and entrepreneurial aspirations because we believe that we are all God’s masterpieces. Our members are encouraged, empowered and equipped to create and celebrate all that they love. We have thought about the creative process from conception, creation, completion to audience consumption, a one-stop-shop for Creatives who can express themselves and make their dreams come to life.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
We have total faith in the success of McPhail Studios because God is our source. Our first challenge was the transformation of a standard office building into an entertainment country club, with everything from classroom space to recording studios. Another challenge was how to present and position ourselves as a known resource. We are currently looking for the best way to offer our services. As a family, we have been able to use our faith when our facility suffered two major flooding episodes that required replacement of over 80% of our flooring.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with McPhail Studios – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of and what sets you apart from others.
McPhail Studios is a membership-based multi-use facility that specializes in renting space to Creativeprenuers who are ready to take their creativity to the next level. We have 10 different spaces we rent to members so they can create and celebrate what they love. From baby and bridal showers to book signings and listening parties, we have the facility for it! We are most proud of our ability to be used for almost every part of the creation process. We stand apart because of the multifunctionality of each of our studio spaces. We are not just one type of event facility we are your new home for all things creative. Podcast studio to meeting rooms to actors self-taping and so much more. We want to be a positive part of your best success. We are going to be Atlanta’s ‘Hitsville’ for all types of expressions!
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We believed that luck is preparation meeting opportunity in God’s timing, We strive to be ready for whatever and when the opportunity presents itself, stay ready. We look forward to the rush of talented Creativeprenuers ready and able to commit to pursuing their dreams at the next level. We constantly improve and add what will help us most in our mission to be the place you create the life you want and celebrate the life you live. We are blessed to be a blessing and God has given us this space to be a platform to encourage, empower, and equip God’s people (you) to live their (your) best life and own it! We are excited for the firsts, the fun, and the many laughs, the events, and the completed projects of our members. We are most excited about holding a place for creatives and entrepreneurs to live go after what they want with the resources they need all right in the house.
