Hi Kandice, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
When I was a child, my mother and I used to make the most delicious caramel corn. I always looked forward to it. It was one of the many memorable moments of my childhood. Fast forward to adulthood, my professional career was in Human Resources. I would bring my caramel corn in to work for holidays, so the employees could enjoy it. Everyone would just rant and rave about how delicious it was. In February 2020, after I brought my caramel corn in to work for Valentine’s Day, I went home and made the scariest decision of my life. I resigned from Corporate America. People laughed at me and thought I was insane. They couldn’t believe I left the corporate world after 27 years to start my own business. Being a single mother of three daughters, it was important for me to build something that they could be proud of. My legacy. As luck would have it, Covid paid a visit to the US and the world pretty much stopped. For me, failure was not an option. I spent endless hours on social media, marketing and doing pop-up sales. Business cards and samples were left everywhere. My brand was growing rapidly in the middle of a pandemic!
Today, I continue to hustle, day and night, to grow Kandie’s Korn, LLC and get my gourmet caramel corn in every home across the country!
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
My biggest struggle was the pandemic hitting the US shortly after starting Kandie’s Korn, LLC. Due to this, many events were canceled and resources were unavailable.

Kandie’s Korn, LLC specializes in creating delicious varieties of gourmet caramel corn.
We are known for “melt in your mouth” caramel corn without preservatives.
Creating a superb product for my customers is my utmost goal and I will not sacrifice quality under any circumstance. I am very proud of the product that I produce for them.
Establishing relationships with my customers is also extremely important. They know that they are appreciated!
I would like your readers to know that my product is made with love. Every batch of korn made, every bag that is filled… their satisfaction is priority! This is a huge reason why I currently do everything myself. From the marketing, production, packaging and distribution. The product I produce from start to finish must be to my standards. I want my brand to stand out from the rest!
Kandie’s Korn offers many flavors and several sized bags, along with a variety of popcorn tins. We offer wholesale pricing, fundraising opportunities and birthday party/shower packages. We offer local pickup and we ship nationwide. Throughout each month, there are numerous sales/specials for customers to take advantage of, and you can always find me at a local festivals/markets.
