Kay D.Turner she is a licensed Cosmetologist, and CEO who built the IntoME Brand at the age of 23. As a serial entrepreneur with several brand extensions, Turner becomes a Six-figure Beauty Mogul. In spite of a felony conviction, Turner mastered the art of overcoming adversity and entrepreneurship inspiring others to turn their trials into trophies through her motivational EP titled Series 1: Evolve. Turner is also a Master educator who holds a degree in Health & Beauty Management & over 21 certifications in the beauty industry. Kay Turner is creating the world’s next leading Six-figure Beauty, Health & Lifestyle Professionals & Organizations through brand management consulting, coaching, seminars, webinars, books and audiobooks.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Starting a business at the age of 23 was not a smooth process however determination was my muse. Having no guidance and mentor, I experienced a lot of trial & error. I balanced being a full time mother and business owner which led to some days being more overwhelming than others. In 2016, I experienced a decline in business and reputation due to a felony conviction for drug charges. This time period of self reflection was the inspiration behind my motivational EP.

As a Beauty Mogul and Educator I cultivate all programs to engage students and develop their skills, setting them apart from other professionals in the beauty industry. As a direct result of my expertise in Brand Management Consulting and Campaign Management for Health, Beauty & Lifestyle clientele. With over ten years of outstanding experience and training in the hair industry as a master stylist, I have advanced my hair artistry skillset and expertise into a high-end Brand experience. Passionate about delivering quality education and beauty excellence, my specialties include removing the beauty stereotypes of the world by encouraging others to indulge in self-care to cultivate the essence of their uniqueness through the IntoMe brand. I have several brand extensions which includes intimate wear, lingerie and IntoME are synonymous with sexy & confident. IntoME Intimate wear offers trendy lingerie pieces such as rompers, chemises, teddies, and exotic lingerie. Sold exclusively through private showrooms, parties & pop up shops. Another extension of the IntoME Brand includes premium-quality virgin hair. Suitable for everyday prestigious business women. Grade 9A &10A can be reused for up to 2 years with proper care, can be colored and no shedding. IntoME Extensions are available online, in store & pop up shops. Lastly, IntoME Media where I launched my motivational EP.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my growth in the industry and my expansion to brand management & public speaking. What sets me apart is being multifaceted, my diversity in the field excels by offering multiple products & services. I’d like to think of myself as an accomplished entrepreneur and modern renaissance woman.
What were you like growing up?
I was extremely out of the box and mature for my age as I was the second oldest to four other siblings. I enjoyed the arts of dancing, fashion, hair and makeup. Extremely rebellious to the world’s standards, I flourished unconstrained with my sense of style. I was opposed to other’s opinions and ambitiously strived to ‘dare to be different’. I wore mixed matched clothes and changed my hair every 2-3 days as early as ten. I have an old soul, my favorite singer was the late Whitney Houston.
