Who is the Owner/CEO of Beautytingzatb?
Meet Kayla Freeman, A Esthetics graduate born and raised in Atlanta, GA. Kayla had a vision about what it would be like to be her own boss in the Beauty world. She was really searching for her place in the industry. It wasn’t easy for her to make the decision to attend Beauty school with fear that it wouldn’t work out or that she wouldn’t succeed in any endless opportunities available to her. In February of 2019, Kayla decided to attend Esthetics school. She had ups and downs with going to school and trying to maintain a personal life, that she dropped out halfway through the program. Kayla didn’t know what she wanted to do anymore and felt lost. She found a way to gain her inner love and peace within herself with changing her mindset and remembering why she started school in the first place. In 2020 during the start of Covid, Kayla went back to school determined to finish strong. She did just that February 12, 2021. Beautytingzatb was launched June 7, 2021 paving the way into the future of Beauty! Today Kayla inspired many beauties to truly be themselves, love themselves and have fun while doing it all.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Wow, I must say it has not been an easy road for me. My online store has only been open for ten months now, and omg I’ve been disguised a lot. I have wanted to quit many times. I had to remember why I started my business and how I would change lives around the world. I keep myself motivated knowing that I have purpose and what I do as a young entrepreneur. I knew it wouldn’t be easy and I know it comes with many different challenges, but that doesn’t make me want to give up anymore. Knowing that I make someone smile or make them feel beautiful by promoting my product or speaking about my real-life struggles as a woman or not feeling beautiful or anything of that nature could Help someone to understand how beautiful they are and how we can all lift ourselves up.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a recent graduate in esthetics. I am the owner of an online beauty store known as beautytingzatb it is island-themed based off of my island roots on both sides of my family. We supply needs to all beauty experts, beginners in beauty, estheticians, beauticians, lash techs, you name it we have the something for you. I am best known as Ms. Hollywood. I sell everything from mink lashes to hydrating lipgloss you name it. What I’m most proud of is the fact that I took a leap of faith, I listen to God and started right where I was not knowing much about business and created a brand that is known by many soon to be known by known by millions. What sets me apart from others is that I keep it real with my customer with my viewers because being in the beauty industry, you have people that aren’t as real about their products or about what their purpose is for starting in general. I will continue to be open and honest with my customers making a save space for them.
Is there any advice you’d like to share with our readers who might just be starting out?
The best advice I can give to others is to Chase your dreams start where you understand that you can be successful, never give up on you don’t be scared to fail. What I wish I knew when starting out wow?? I will definitely say having more confidence in myself and not being afraid to just be me and always try my very best never half.
