Today we’d like to introduce you to Kejuana “KeKe” Ford.
Hi Kejuana “KeKe”, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Being a native of Dayton, Ohio and growing up seeing my single mother raising two children, doing the best she could while seeing her struggle, and working to just pay bills, motivated me to want more for myself. When most of my peers in high school were getting scholarships for college and knowing what they wanted to do with their lives, I didn’t. Struggling to find what I wanted to do with my life, going to college and dropping out, in and out of dead-end jobs, God revealed the gift of art. With that art, I became fascinated with clean and precise eyebrows! Drawing eyebrows on paper, in my notebooks, almost anywhere I could before starting with my own. I was able to perfect my brows in such a way that was appealing to others! Not knowing what I was getting myself into, I began taking clients and was in “competition” with the local hair store brow tech. Not knowing how far this path would actually take me, it was something that I was GREAT at and it began to take off. Knowing that God presented me with the gift of art and eyebrows (haha), I knew I wanted more for my family. Having to give back to my mother, who gave so, so, so much to us! My motivation became bigger than me!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Smooth road? Absolutely not, however it’s been a joyous road. Despite the trials and tribulations, I may have endured along the way. One moment during my entrepreneurial journey that I could never forget is simply doing everything alone. Trying to figure it all out while feeling like no one understood MY vision. Getting knocked down, being told “no,” being betrayed, all of the above! But when you want something as bad as I did (I do), and when God has a purpose for you it’s not supposed to be easy and everyone won’t understand. Knowing he will provide you with the resources you need in order to fulfill your purpose whether it’s people or where he wants to place you, and now I understand that.
We’ve been impressed with Brows by Keke, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m proud of the evolution of my business, my work ethic, tenacity, and determination. From building my business in the dining room of my mother’s home in Ohio to expanding my business to NC. Being able to teach my craft to men and women alike, who have traveled far and near to learn the ways of the coldest brow tech! Being able to impact and inspire so many people is what keeps me going and knowing that the purpose I serve is bigger than me. Authenticity on and off of the internet is what sets me apart from others. No fake social media performances, no over-acting captions, pages, etc. I am Ke’Juana 100% of the time.
I specialize in ALL THINGS BROW! Microshading/Microblading (aka ombre brows, permanent brows, tattoo brows), brow tinting, and waxing. I’m also the Master Brow Instructor of Brow by Keke Academy, training men and women my technique(s) and knowledge to help start or further their career in the brow industry. I’m also CEO of an eyebrow cosmetics umbrella company known as She Brow Cosmetics LLC. which was created to help beauty professionals provide luxury services with our top quality products.
I am MOST known for being the coldest brow tech and master instructor when it comes to neat, precise eyebrow services. As well as having a great personality and a keen sense of fashion.

Turn your faith UP and turn your weary DOWN. One of the best sources I like to turn to at any given time is the Bible. More specifically, Romans 12:12 which reads, “REJOICE IN HOPE, BE PATIENT DURING AFFLICTION, AND STAY CONSTANT IN PRAYER.”
