Today we’d like to introduce you to Kelsey Janae.
Kelsey, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
I have always been a creator and had a love for creating something out of nothing. Seven years ago, I was inspired to create a YouTube channel to answer hair and beauty questions asking by some of my Instagram family. Because of the support of my community, I have had many amazing opportunities to work with beauty brands, create exclusive content and meet so many of my supporters. I love having my platform and being able to create and share my content with others.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
This journey has been full of learning experiences. When I started creating content, content creators were not being paid and the term “influencer” was nonexistent. There have been so many hard lessons learned when working with brands and developing a brand new career that has never existed before. I am still learning everyday and I enjoy what I do so all of the lessons are well worth it.

I am a content creator and I focus on beauty and lifestyle. I am known for my natural hair tutorials and makeup videos on YouTube. Me being myself is what sets me apart from others. No one can do anything quite like you 🙂
