Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenley Lord.
Kenley, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up I watched America’s Next Top Model and ever since then I always wanted to be a model, but I was bullied a lot in school so it gave me self esteem issues. I battled with those issues all throughout my life, but as I got older I focused on myself to become a better person and to improve my self-image. I’m not saying bullying is a good thing, but it made me a better, stronger, more resilient person.
One day a photographer reached out to me and gave me an opportunity to work with him and my modeling dream was soon becoming a reality. I started working with more photographers and just learning the craft on becoming the model I want to be. I have goals in the near future to get signed by an agency and hopefully get published. By the time my career is over, I want to be a role model and inspire others to fulfill their dreams because no matter how bad life gets, you get back up and battle through it.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Absolutely not, I had people telling me I would never be anything and I wasn’t good enough, too skinny and ugly. I also had a few experiences with unprofessional photographers trying to get me to do things I was uninterested in doing.

I’m a freelance model who shoots beauty and lifestyle, I’m known for my passion and willingness to learn. I’m most proud of how far I’ve come with my skills in modeling. I strive to be professional and build great bonds. I think what sets me apart from others is my story and background
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
Playing with makeup and playing dress-up. I also loved taking videos and pictures!
