So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
We are a husband and wife duo. We started this business because my husband, the Executive Chef wanted to continue his passion for the culinary arts when he retired from the military. (See his bio here http://www.topscateringandevents.com/meet-the-chef.html)
I have a background in marketing and a natural eye (talent) for design. …And, whala! We started Tops Catering and Events as a full service catering company to create top notch affairs for corporate, social and wedding events.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road is not always been so smooth. The biggest struggle is earning the clients trust especially when you are starting out because there is no brand or name recognition established. But, we just kept our focus on providing top notch service for every event-every time and it has paid off.

We are known for providing top-notch events. We are committed and focused every day on providing a top notch customer experience from our delicious food, innovative design and service.
What moment in your career do you look back most fondly on?
In the early days, we were entrusted to cater an event for the one Housewives of Atlanta that aired on TV!! And since then we have added several high profile events to our client list.
