King , let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I am from the DMV. I currently live in Atlanta, GA. I am the CEO and founder of The 95 Agency LLC. My company offers the following services: brand and business management, public relations, product development, brand activations and event planning/coordinating.
I have a bachelor’s in the entertainment business and a master’s in sports marketing and management.
I am also the business partner of Damon A Johnson and a managing partner in the restaurant/lounge Fin & Feathers.
I was born into an entrepreneurial family. My mother owned 4 different businesses and she gave me my first shot at being an entrepreneur. I quit last my job when I was 18 years old after I became successful at being a club promoter.
I have lived in Miami, New Orleans and now Atlanta.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road at all. I have overcome so many obstacles. I remember moving to Miami, FL from Las Vegas after an event. I took a risk moving out there for the betterment of my brand and business. I remember staying in a hotel on the beach for three weeks. I ended up staying in South Florida for five years.
