Meet LaTrece Nicole

Today we’d like to introduce you to LaTrece Nicole.

LaTrece, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I started acting and singing in stage plays when I was around ten years old (my mother is a playwright in Akron, Ohio) and continued through my growing up along with baking cakes. In grade school and even as an adult, I’d tell people to save my signature because one day, it will be worth something! To this day, I still believe this! I got married and moved to ATL in 2013 and singing, acting and baking kind of took a back burner. Then one day around 2016, I saw a post for actresses needed for a hit stage play, so I auditioned and was offered the part and it’s been on ever since! 2016 is when I got back into the things I loved doing! That’s acting /singing in plays (Theatre and stage) now I’m acting in TV and Film! However On June 3rd, 2017 I was in a car accident which caused me to have neck surgery July 2018 This put my love for acting on hold/slow down… so I started focusing on my full-time job until one day I got sick at work and drove myself to my doctors office who recommended I’d be taken to the hospital by ambulance however I refused and said I’d drive myself..(didn’t need another bill) my blood count was 1 number away from needing a blood transfusion (eight), I had no iron in storage and had to have 3 iron transfusions! But had all this not happened, I probably would have got back into acting because I had to quit my full-time job and focus on my health. This allowed time to work on more play productions as well as TV and film! Thus far, I’ve been featured on Star, Filmed a couple of shows of Fatal Attraction and ATL Homicide. Not only that but I’ve also landed a few movie (Domestic Warfare, Taboo 2 The Unthinkable Act & EnVision to name a few) and a new web series roles titled Mixed Emotions Vol2 in which I helped write as well! Let’s not forget I still bake (learned a skill from my granny and late grandma) and design custom cakes (self-taught)! Seeing my husband and children’s face when they see me on TV is priceless! As of 2019 I’v stepped into my calling as a writer with ETre Productions! With content soon to be produced!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Not at all! I still have days I want to quit! Just recently I didn’t even want to live anymore but I have to continue to remind myself that I have purpose over my life! So I keep my head up and keep perfecting my craft to the best of my ability! And hold on to Que será, será (What will be will be!!) what is meant for me IS for me!

Tell us more about your work.
I’m an actress, singer and content creator who loves to bake and design custom cakes!

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Bad luck or good luck, I’m right where I need to be and will continue to push forward! So with that being said I’d say I am Blessed!
