Today we’d like to introduce you to LeFoy Grant.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Well, I’m originally from North Charleston SC. I moved to Atlanta immediately after finishing high school to begin studies in IT at DeVry that very same summer. After finishing DeVry and as a college promotions manager for Rowdy/Arista Records, I decided to attend Clark Atlanta University for Mass Media Arts.
I was very active during my matriculation at CAU. I was co-host of the popular University Vibes Show on WCLK with DJ Drama which broke barriers in terms of coverage, access and interviews. I directed and edited shows for CAU-TV and countless other freelance works. This lead to creating my company Immense Media while in college. I later became MTV Online’s local stringer/writer for everything entertainment in Atlanta.
Upon graduation, I was awarded the Top Television Student Award of the CAU MMA program and was hired in the Mayor’s Office of Communications. During that time, I created AlumniUnit which was became the largest HBCU online social network consortium in the country and sold it years later. Since leaving the Mayor’s Office in 2012, my promotions & media firm has organized and promoted hundreds of concepts & events in and out of the country. I’ve also invested time & money to outside ventures that my schedule allows.
I’ve been blessed to be well-versed in the technological, political & entertainment realms. As an awarded media editor for 13 years, I am humbled to now be a self-employed businessman for the past seven years. When I’m not working on projects, I enjoy time with my daughter Brianna (an aspiring singer), traveling, mentoring, sporting activities or finding new investments.
Has it been a smooth road?
I think all growth comes with some sort of struggle. One of my best attributes is that I am methodical and I think things through. Every decision I make is typically a step to get to my next step. I advise anyone to not just have a goal but to write down your path to get to the goal. Break your path all the way down to track your victories along the way.

The entire objective of my business is to provide quality outlets for working professionals to enjoy themselves. They are able to meet like-minded individuals through events that I organize and promote at select lounges/clubs locally, concert venues, and travel events in the states and internationally.
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
What I love about Atlanta is its diversity. It affords anyone willing to work hard to be able to meet, work and create with people from all kinds of backgrounds and origins. If you have the desire and drive, you can get just about anything done. What do I dislike about the city? Everyone dislikes traffic! But hey, it comes with any growing city.
