I am an author, actress, motivational speaker, entrepreneur…some may say I’m a renaissance woman. I have written a total of four books. My first book that put me on the map “The Purple Cinderella (Surviving Multiple Childhood Rapists) ” my autobiography which shattered walls and pulled back the curtains on the silent world of childhood abuse. A book of healing. It went on to be a great success and the other three followed.
While being quarantined due to COVID-19, I have written my 4th book The Red Lipstick Hustlers Beauty Guide. It’s a book to help women improve their hair, nails, and skin. Not only did I write a beauty guide, I created a hair growth oil, “QUEEN LILLIE Hair Growth Oil“. With me being a person who has lost my hair over 20+ times, it was imperative for me to share my techniques and remedies how I have always grown my hair back long. I used the best qualities of oils on my hair, organic, pure oils. I’m excited to share with others the oils I use on my hair…I created something amazing QUEEN LILLIE Hair Growth Oil. It is doing so well. I get great reviews, testimonials from customers on their journey of growth and health about their hair.
I am as well core background (doctor) actress on The Resident television show. I’ve been on this show three seasons. I have been featured on several other television shows such The Bobbie Brown story part 2 as a news reporter. Dynasty season 3 episode 5 as Jessica Woods an owner of a publishing company. There has been so many great opportunities and blessings on television shows and movies. Living in Atlanta has blessed me with so many great opportunities.
I have had the honor to be on the cover of magazines, featured in several magazines. I’ve won several awards for charity work, my books, etc. But my most proud award is when I received a Proclamation from the City of Atlanta. This really touched me in a powerful way. All I know is the sky is not the limit…it’s beyond it with the faith of God. Never put limits on yourself. God is beyond the sky.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
It hasn’t been a smooth road. Struggles of letting go, the hurt from my past. Allowing healing so I can grow, love, be a better me. Dissolve trust issues and bondage from my childhood.

I write books of purpose…books to motivate, heal, inspire, aspire, go get your blessings. I specialize in creating brands. I have The Purple Cinderella brand, The Red Lipstick Hustler brand and QUEEN LILLIE Hair Growth Oil umbrella under I AM LILLIE YOUNG brand.
The Purple Cinderella is the root to all of this. It got me started. It is me; it’s my most precious one. But they are all great because they are me.
If you had to go back in time and start over, would you have done anything differently?
Trust me more so I can trust others. Believe more in myself…but I had to grow into the place God has me now.
