Today we’d like to introduce you to Maria Williams.
Maria, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have always loved art since I was a little girl, however during my education at Kennesaw State University I lost sight of my love for art until the birth of my son. After I had my son, I began to jump back into painting and tattoo modeling. I am now an art instructor at the top sip and paint “Paint Sip Socialize” and I have been in art shows as well as selling art on a clients website. I have also been a tattoo model for over a year and have been in several fashion shows, Bronner Bros hair show, hair shoot, photo shoots, etc.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
With every strive to success, you have your highs and lows, I would say some of my lows have been getting others to take my art serious I’m the beginning and the inconsistencies of the urban modeling industry and agencies in Atlanta.
Please tell us about Maria the Masterpiece Creator.
I am a tattoo model who is booked in fashion shows, fashion shoots, videos, hosting, etc. I sell and design art that includes portraits, murals, hand-painted designs, and body painting. I use various mediums and media however I specialize in acrylic paint. I am proud of how my brand is growing and I know that my versatility will set me apart as an artist and model.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite childhood memory is when I was nominated for harvest homecoming queen in the middle school.
