Meet Marvlet Cox of YES! Enterprises in Tucker

Today we’d like to introduce you to Marvlet Cox.

Mrs. Cox has been the Founder and Executive Director of Youth Educational Services, Inc. (YES Inc.), since its inception in January 2000. Mrs. Cox has worked in childhood education and health/fitness since moving to Atlanta following graduating from Raleigh North Carolina’s Shaw University with a degree in Kinesiology. With a dream of combining her love for children, a passion for fitness and nutrition and a vision to educate youth in her community, she is realizing her dream while helping her community every day.

She found her calling while working as a paraprofessional in the Gwinnett County Georgia School system and by working with youth in Atlanta’s YMCA after school programs. Her love for molding and guiding youth in these capacities lead her, along with her husband Adrian Cox, to form Youth Educational Services, Inc. in January of 2000.

Her primary emphasis has been aimed at the mental and physical betterment of the youth in her community and surrounding areas. As the 17 year founding visionary for Y.E.S., she has emerged as a leading proponent for youth and women in the Metro Atlanta area. Mrs. Cox has started several businesses, spoken at child advocacy forums, led women’s business empowerment workshops and co-authored a book with her husband (Motivation, Money and Matrimony – September 2015).

She is also a Speaker, Trainer, and Business Leader. Combined with her vast business knowledge and experience, her fun, energizing personality with a flair for creativity, she enlightens the hearts, minds & spirits of people internationally.

She works with entrepreneurs, small businesses, solopreneurs, child care centers, care industry professionals, educators, professional managers, & women’s groups on IGNITING their true passions for business & life.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I have started and failed at many businesses throughout our journey to build our enterprise.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the YES! Enterprises (Youth Educational Services, Inc.) story. Tell us more about the business.
Throughout the years, YES Inc. has started and led summer camps, summer free lunch programs, teen mentorship programs, afterschool programs and tutorial services. As a Summer Food Service Program sponsor for 10 years, Marvlet has facilitated the feeding of over 3000 daily meals to at risk youth throughout the Atlanta area under the auspices of Bright from the Start. As a Child and Adult Care Food Sponsor, Mrs. Cox has aided hundreds of child care centers in receiving reimbursements for the money these, many times, at-risk programs spend on feeding the children in their care.

We are the industry leader in the Care Professional field because of our YES-MAZING love and care for our clients and our team. We truly treat our clients as family. The culture of YES is Xtreme Customer Connection and Service Base. YES, is the BEST!
