Hi Meshonda, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am a Fashion/Lifestyle Blogger and Social Media Influencer. My journey began in August of 2017. I created my Brand, Simply Meshonda, to share my God-given talents as it relates to fashion with other women but especially for women over the age of 40. My goal is to encourage women of all ages to embrace their bodies and to dress and feel confidently, regardless of their age or body type. I do believe that if you look good, you feel good. I offer Fashion Consulting, Personal Styling, and Brand Marketing.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road for me and there were obstacles along the way but I persevered. With everything, you may experience road blocks but if it is something that you are truly focused on then nothing will stand in the way of you achieving these goals. In 2020, I experienced job loss and a divorce, These events forced me to work harder toward achieving my goals and putting more of my time and energy into expanding my brand, Simply Meshonda Consulting, LLC.

Simply Meshonda Consulting, LLC is a marketing and consulting company that works with brands and businesses to increase their brand awareness and products by promoting it on social media. Simply Meshonda creates content through photos, reels, videos, and stories. The focus is fashion and lifestyle. Simply Meshonda also offers one on one coaching sessions for anyone interested in starting a blog or becoming an influencer. Simply Meshonda also offers personal shopping and virtual fashion consulting.
How do you think about luck?
I, personally do not believe in luck. I like to say that I am blessed, not lucky. My success in this creator space is credited to God.
