Today we’d like to introduce you to Mike Sanders.
Mike, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Not sure we have that kind of time so I’m just going to throw out the cliff notes. As a native of Smyrna, Georgia, I have spent the last eighteen years entertaining people on many different levels from sold out arenas as a Pro Wrestler to stand-up comedy to film and TV to host/emcee, DJ and Team building for the masses and weddings all over the country.
Somewhere around 1998 I headed to The Punchline Comedy Club in Atlanta, GA to pursue a career in standup comedy. A year later, I made my debut as a Pro Wrestler working for both World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). Following my pro wrestling days, somewhere around 2005, and pursuing my enjoyment of being a stand-up comedian headlining comedy clubs throughout the US, I realized my passion to entertain others did not stop there! I was given the opportunity to audition for Army Wives thus taking my first step into the acting arena which led to larger roles. My vast entertainment experience has opened doors for me to host/emcee Fortune 500 companies and corporations such as Delta, Coca-Cola , KPMG and Lincoln Partners just to name a few. I then decided to start my own company putting a name to the personality. Thus, The Party Paramedic was born in 2012. The Party Paramedic specializes in all entertainment needs including green screen, team building, host/emcee and DJ services. In 2016, I also added the coolest photo booth in the southeast, “The Mug Bug,” a vintage 1970’s Volkswagen bus to the selection. It features a full photo booth with props and unlimited prints to be customized for individual events such as a luau or 1980’s theme or it can be done all in white for weddings. Basically my motto is…. Don’t let your event go into cardiac arrest – Call the 911 in FUN! Yea, cheesy I know but it works and we really have a good time!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
I wouldn’t say it’s been smooth. I would say the biggest struggle was what direction I wanted to go with the company. I like to do fun stuff. And things like “the Mug Bug” and the LED photo booth are fun.
I really do enjoy seeing people having a good time at a party my company is a part of.
