Today we’d like to introduce you to Miranda Malone.
Miranda, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
Hi there! As a young girl, I admired watching my father becoming the family photographer. Often at family reunions or picnics, he would be the designated photographer. Each year he would create a board with all the family pictures from year to year. Eventually obtaining decades of family photos. After toying with a camera, I quickly realized that not only was I inspired, I inherited a special gift from my father! It’s all in the EYE!
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Honestly, It came naturally to me. I almost actually became the family photographer with my cell phone in past years (chuckling). Everyone always said I know how to hit those angles. One day my cousin Frankie Bruster (Stylist) @frankie_3000. Cousin, you need a camera! From there my husband bought me a camera and the rest is HER story!!!
We’d love to hear more about your work.
I am a freelance photographer. I can’t say that I have any particular style yet. I’ve been a photographer for two years and have done various types of events. From portraits, engagements, weddings, sports events, charity events, proms, graduations, birthdays, milestones… so many more I could mention. We are known for “Posing Out Loud”!
I’m most proud that through encouragement from family and friends, I turned a passion into a business so it’s never work.
