Today we’d like to introduce you to Mr.360.
So, before we jump into specific questions, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
I was born in Mississippi but raised in Atlanta, two cornerstones of music. In my opinion, I’ve always been around music, dibbled and dabbled. My mother and father was in the band, then my grandmother and aunt could sing.
Starting off while I was younger I always favored towards singing from always going to choir rehearsal with my grandmother, due to my idol being Michael Jackson and one of my favorite songs being “I believe I can fly” by R.kelly. Riding around with my father, he started me onto rap. While I was younger, I always kept the newest technology, Nokia cellphone, two way pagers and CDs players. On my first CD player my dad gave me two CDs, 2pac’s “All Eyes on me”, And Will Smith’s “Big willie style”. From there, I started being fascinated with rapping, having moments of freestyling throughout the years for fun a lot but always was good with words. Fast forward to recent years, I end up gaining a friendship with a guy I consider my brother also fellow musician Slic Cheauxlove who also played with music growing up. We were both serving in military at the time when another brother of ours NoFraudRich was telling us the process to actually do music the right way. After the conversation and references, Slic says, “I’m going to drop a mixtape for my birthday”, originally thinking it was a joke but here’s his birthday and my guy drops a mixtape! (laughs)
From there, it lit my fire to just hop out there and do it. Moving fast I dropped “The Initiation”, which was a good starter to begin but I was far from where I wanted to be. As more studio time and songs came I’ve molded and continue to hone in on becoming more versatile other than lyricism, more melodies and stories. Music has become a pure outlet to emotions “A way with words” is a great single to be recognized for but I have a few notable ones on my second project which was an EP “The Infatuation”. I thank God humbly for every opportunity big and small I receive, he comes first in every step I make and gives me the voice to reach others the way I’m starting to reach them now.
Has it been a smooth road?
No grind is easy, if it was easy everyone would do it. Becoming efficient in anything takes a lot of practice. Everyday something is changing, juggling the balance of keeping and maintaining while putting effort into your art is not easy. I’ve had a lot of challenges and continue to have them there’s nothing to do but have faith go through it and know God is going to bring us through it.
What else should our readers know?
