Today we’d like to introduce you to Nikita Williams.
Nikita, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Well, to know how I started and how I got here, I’d have to share with you something personal. I am a woman living with multiple chronic illnesses and for most of my adult life, I have struggled to try to find a way to support my family by working for small to big corporate businesses. But not being able to keep up with those demands, I sought to find ways to work for myself. I had experience in different industries from event planning, photography, real estate and person to person marketing just to name a few. So I knew lots of things but was not sure how to use them to create my own business. Then I took an online course on digital marketing and I started finding my way to working online doing digital marketing services like Facebook ads, landing pages and web design for women in business. While doing this, I found myself coaching those ladies beyond the services I was providing. But I was missing something my previous jobs provided me, a constant flow of networking opportunities and business needed more content for blogging. I’ve never been a big writer and due to my chronic illness I found myself being at home the majority of the time, so networking was out of the question. After trying a few different ideas to implement these two things in my business, my husband said, “Why don’t you try podcasting.” At the time I didn’t know it but I’d love it and it would change my business in the most beautiful way.
Has it been a smooth road?
Not a smooth road at all. There’s been lots of twists and turns and I am sure there will continue to be. One of the biggest struggles at first was trying to figure out how to balance living with a chronic illness and running a business. Stress is a huge trigger, so I had to find the balance of working with clients and managing expectations and creating systems that worked for me. This took a lot of trial and error, but now I have a system that works.
We’d love to hear more about your business.

Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
I love that although we live on the outskirts of Atlanta, we are relatively close to everything. I love the small downtown areas. They are full of quaint local shops, markets, and amazing food. What I least like about the city is, of course, the traffic.
