Today we’d like to introduce you to Olivia Love.
Olivia, please share your story with us. How did you get to where you are today?
My name is Olivia’Love and I am a self-taught, home decor artist and visionary! I started creating and envisioning at a young age, but I never thought my artistic abilities would bring me this far in life.
It all started with Christmas wreaths! I would make, decorate, and/or spray paint a plain wreath and sell them for way cheaper than your local store. So naturally, everyone in my community wanted a one-of-kind decorative, handmade Christmas wreath that no one else would have. But that was seasonal and I knew my art deserved to be showcased all year around!
So next, I started making home decor. You tell me your vision and I would make it. Until one day, I saw an Instagram clip for resin and I said to myself “I wonder if I can do that?”… of course, I then taught myself how to do Resin art and from there my talent became limitless! I started selling resin pieces a week after I taught myself & a month after that I was selling so much that there was nothing left to do but to have my very own art show! After the success from my art show I couldn’t turn back, I thrived and that’s how it all started. 🙂
Has it been a smooth road?
It hasn’t always been a smooth road. At all! I suffered from depression and PTSD most of my life, so running a business when sometimes you don’t even feel like getting out of bed or waking up has been difficult for me. But art has always been an outlet. It always brings me back to a grounded happy place.
There have been times that I let my commission pieces get the best of me. Meaning I take on to many projects and I end up draining myself to a point where I don’t want to do art anymore, I just want to hide. But in those moments, I have to take a step back and put my mental health 1st. So now I give myself breaks and I don’t take to many commission pieces at once.

I specialize in home decor! I make trays, wall art centerpieces and much more! You imagine it and I’ll create it!
My most proud moment is when I had my very 1st art show, on my own, and sold out of everything in the 1st hour. I’m absolutely positive that my creativity and my ambition is what sets me apart from others. I won’t stop until I make a mark on this world. I won’t stop until I help others by opening up their creative minds and changing the world one paintbrush at a time.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is an amazing place to start your business. There are so many different cultures and markets here. Anyone could start a business, work hard and be successful in Atlanta. Also, ATL has a lot of festivals, art shows, and pop up shops. It’s the perfect demographic for an artist.
