Today we’d like to introduce you to Quan ATL.
Every artist has a unique story. Can you briefly walk us through yours?
So my grandfather was a photographer, and I used to skateboard growing up. He would let me use his cheaper cameras and I would play around with them. I started off filming because I wanted to make skate videos but I found it a lot more enjoyable to take photographs. So, I’ll have to say my grandfather & skateboarding was a huge part of getting me inspired to pick up photography.
Please tell us about your art.
Photography, photography enables me to tell a story and communicate a mood or feeling. After my grandfather death. The camera he never let me use, fell into my hands…. & a year later I won Creative Loafin’s Best Photographer 2016 & 2017. My grandfather played a huge role in my day to day style of shooting. I love working with brands & companies on campaigns and other cool stuff.
What do you think is the biggest challenge facing artists today?
I think most artist today ether don’t know if there doing it because they love it, or doing it for money.
