From a young, I was always fascinated in the world of beauty. I loved doing hair and makeup, and it just always stuck with me as I grew up. When I reached high school, I decided to channel this passion and skill into something more by applying to the cosmetology program in my school’s career and technical education division. I was able to graduate high school with my cosmetology license and immediately started working in a salon part-time while attending college. A year and a half later, my family decided to make the move from Massachusetts to Atlanta, GA, and it is here that I’ve been able to expand in my craft and become specialized in hair braiding and natural hair care.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
As a young entrepreneur, there have definitely been many bumps along the road. One being my relocation to another state. Essentially, it felt like I was starting all over again. Though I am grateful for the new beginnings and opportunities the move has presented to me, it was a struggle trying to build new connections, a clientele, and overall adjusting to a new environment.

Beauty By Quianna is a hair care and styling service. I specialize in hair braiding and protective hairstyling. I’ve recently expanded my business to also include natural hair care products and have released an all-natural hair growth oil. I am proud to say that I have instilled core values in my growing business, including integrity and transparency. I truly believe that these values set my business apart from others.
