Meet Robin Nicole Kindrick

Today we’d like to introduce you to Robin Nicole Kindrick.

Hi Robin Nicole, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I was different. I’ve always had a natural desire to help and inspire others. Instinctively, I’d do that in multiple ways and for years, I would hear the quote “Jack of all trade master of none”… and one day, when I heard the entire quote, it was a game-changer for me. ” A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.” This helped me to embrace who I was as someone called to inspire people to be who they authentically are. I started out by writing poetry, then songwriting and then branding and that’s when everything took off. I finally landed in my purpose as an Inspirationalist.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
Have you ever seen that meme that says God’s plans versus your plans? Well, that’s how this journey has been for me. A series of deep ups and downs. Highs and lows and a lot of questioning if it’s all worth it. Having a career that has been difficult to monetize has been extremely rough. Once you finally get a handle on it, you begin to see the blessing on the other side. The challenges are often connected to times where you must pivot and decide to keep working on something or let it go. Struggles were often personal. Many times it’s those deep convos with yourself that make you question if you’re truly doing what you’re supposed to be doing.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a Brand Inspirationalist and the author of Pep Talk Prayers. I’ve created the upcoming transformational program, The PTP Method: Where Inspiration Inspiration Meets Action & GRAB THE POWER OF THE PATTERN. My work includes Jahzi Brand (Pronounced Jazzy), where I sell inspirational products and apparel, The I’m Wired To Inspire Podcast, The Inspiration Specialist TV on YouTube in addition to custom online courses, intensives, retreats & experiences that have transformed thousands worldwide.

By coupling branding & inspiration with action its allowed me to help entrepreneurs, professionals & creatives along with multi-million dollar brands to be more authentic, clear & valuable. Some of my career highlights include, The Essence Music Festival, ESPN Radio, The Ritz Carlton & NYU Stern School Of Business (LEAD) along with many others. For fun I enjoy songwriting and traveling.

I am most proud of my ability to keep going and to keep creating despite major setbacks. I’ve also felt an immense amount of joy when I see my mentees learning from my mistakes and blazing their own trails. It is indeed fulfilling.

What do you like and dislike about the city?
Atlanta is genuinely filled with countless opportunities to be great. I love that even the suburbs are filled with events and spaces to thrive. I absolutely love that. My least favorite thing about the A is how if you’re not careful, you can be a crab in a barrel. You have to have a very strategic plan and vision for yourself so that you do not succumb to things contrary to your purpose.
