Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Washington.
Ryan, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
Started off as a classically trained musician playing trumpet from the 5th grade until now. My love for music took me thru college (Kentucky State University). In college was in several bands from marching to symphonic. While in high school turned my talents to becoming a DJ and content creator. The career grew as I went thru college and many opportunities came from it. From doing Concerts and clubs to traveling with artists. From college moved to Atlanta where even more opportunities came which lead to be a DJ on Streetz 94.5
Has it been a smooth road?
Some of my biggest struggles were internal. Dealing with doubt and lack of confidence. I think everyone wants to be known for what they love but the road to that comes with sleepless nights and doubt from time to time. With thinking like that causes you to overlook your small victories which help build along the way.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I dj and do content creation marketing for small businesses. The company has now grown into a streaming company hosting dis and other content pieces. People most know me for working in the music and entertainment business. Behind the scenes, people know the marketing company Eighty8 and Rose. The biggest thing I’m proud of with my company is the diverse clientele from working with Bernie sanders to some of your favorite local brands and artist. The thing that sets me apart is the fact that I keep evolving the company with new technology and ideas.
Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I think Atlanta is the perfect place to start out. Especially with a lot of the entertainment industry being based here now. The only other city I would say rivals this is Los Angeles.
