Today we’d like to introduce you to Sahaii Delfosse-Ingleton.
Hi Sahaii, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started as part of my healing process. I had a friend visiting from Jamaica and she and I went to a Crystal store in Fort Lauderdale. The store owner had a waist bead-making class and I was intrigued. I always wanted to wear waist beads but was so self-conscious about my weight and thought I could never wear them. During my healing journey, I delved into my spirituality. I needed to understand my purpose; I needed to understand why I was going through what I was experiencing.
I did the class and created my very first waist bead. I purchased glass beads and Crystal beads after the class, and I created another three to wear. When I tied them on me, I felt an energetic shift that could only be described as an awakening to Self, love for Self, and this immense feeling of peace, contentment, and knowing that I have discovered my purpose.
I started making waist beads at work during my lunchtime and coworkers loved my work and started placing orders. I decided that I needed to understand how making waist beads for these beautiful women could also be used as a tool for them on their journey. In meditation, I asked for guidance on how my work could be different and truly unique to the individual wearing them, and the guidance I received was to use Numerology, specifically the energy of the individual’s Life Path Number.
The year 2019 birthed Divine Feminine Goddess Beads. The year 2019 holds the energy of the number 3. 3 is the number of creativity.
I started experimenting with other pieces of jewelry and now create bracelets for Men, Women and Children. I also create anklets, thigh beads, and necklaces. Each piece that I create is spiritually crafted with the energy of the individual’s Life Path number. I know and have accepted my purpose on this earth to bring healing, self-love, balance, empowerment and purpose to the souls who choose to wear my jewelry.
My goal is to help these souls discover their true path; the path that will bring them the most fulfillment in their life’s journey. I only ask that the wearer allows the jewelry that they wear to support them in any area of their lives that needs the most nurturing by setting intentions and awakening their own true Divine purpose.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Yes, it has been a smooth road. I say this because I believe that everything happens for a reason and once you truly release control and allow yourself to be guided by your Ancient Self, then anything we choose to pursue in life will never be a struggle. I also believe that if you are walking in your true Divine purpose, then you will never face obstacles. You will face lessons; and lessons are important for growth. Understanding the lessons can only help you to become a master on your journey.
I have faced many lessons on this part of my journey. I had to figure out how to run a business. I had to learn through trial and error the best materials to use to create quality pieces. I am grateful for the guidance I have received from my Spiritual team and also from the Souls who have been sent to me to help me on this journey.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I create jewelry, specifically waist beads, anklets, thigh beads, necklaces, and bracelets using glass beads and Crystal beads. All the pieces I create are spiritually crafted with the energy of the individual’s Life Path number. I make meaningful jewelry. Not only are these pieces beautiful, but they are specific to the individual. I’m grateful that I have been given this purpose to bring healing and self-love and to help individuals understand what their Divine purpose is in life. I tell my customers to set the intentions for what they want their jewelry to do for them and allow these pieces to help bring them clarity and direction.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risk-taking is trusting that the decisions you make will work out in your favor. I lived in FL for 21 years and decided to move to GA two days before Christmas in December 2019. I had resigned from my job, packed my life in a U-Haul and headed north with my son. I didn’t have a job yet and I was moving to a State I had only visited twice prior and knew nothing about. Everyone who knows me knows that I am a planner and that I will always have my ducks in a row, but I had friends who were really worried about me because they couldn’t believe that I was deciding to move from something that was so familiar and comfortable, to experience the unknown.
Moving to GA was THE BEST decision. I do miss my friends and my family in FL, but I can always visit; they’re only a 9-hour drive away.
Being in GA allowed me space to grow, understand who I was becoming and truly brought me to a place of peace. There’s something about the energy here that makes me feel like this is my true home.
