Today we’d like to introduce you to Sasha Ledawn.
Hi Sasha, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
If I were to take it way back, you would have found me orchestrating a competition on the playground for some crayon-colored drawings I made the night before. There were monkey bars, slides, and swings but there I was creating a demand for my Crayola paintings. I didn’t realize it then, but I was born for business and by the time I attended college, I already knew where I would focus my studies, and here I am today, a business coach and strategist…. who struggled to become and understand who I was.
I knew what my career path was, but I couldn’t predict my life path and that’s what nearly took me out. From career disappointments, failed relationships, and unfathomable loss, I found myself in a very low place. There used to be this bridge I would pass in my car on the way to work. It wasn’t long or beautiful by any measure and if I pointed it out to you, you’d still need help finding it. It was insignificant, but I just knew that it was the perfect place to end my life.
I struggled to find value in my own life. It was extremely hard to be hopeful when everything was going wrong. If it wasn’t for God and the people, He surrounded me with, I would have given up then. I would have let the overwhelm overcome me. It was through this experience, that I began to understand how I could help others.
It’s not enough to know your purpose nor to have the latest marketing and sales strategies. It’s not enough to have a bunch of followers or clients. Those things don’t fulfill you. What brings lasting fulfillment is the development of your soul. It’s what made a substantial impact for me and why, in addition to being an MBA strategist, I am also a transformational coach.
I’ve transformed. I am transforming and It’s my calling to help my clients transform themselves spiritually, financially, and mentally.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There were many, many struggles and still are. I have God. I know Jesus and have not found a struggle-less place and maybe that’s the problem. We often think that life should be smooth or we assume that after we have suffered that there is nothing but endless dawns and that’s not the case. Light and dark co-exist together. Good and bad happen at the same time. Getting to that place of understanding has been tough, but the knowledge of this concept has allowed me to experience great freedom in my life and business.
We’ve been impressed with The Encouragist LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The Encouragist™ is a combination of both the words Encourager and Strategist. My company seeks to erase the lines between faith and business with bible-based business services and products.
Build It Brave™, our premier group-coaching program for female entrepreneurs, utilizes our AAA (Accountability, Action, Attitude) framework to spark massive transformation and create business success for our clients. It’s unique in that it focuses on the person holistically as opposed to just business goals. The program works for a host of creatives, from artists and influencers to coaches and writers. It’s high touch with 24/7 DM support and monthly 1:1 meetings which help our clients remain accountable yet balanced in their pursuit of the vision they have for their life. In addition to our amazing community, who have called themselves Braves, there are weekly live Q&A and mindset sessions that inspire action. Many new features are being added monthly, but I am so excited about it and the transformations that have come thus far.

Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
The best thing about Atlanta is also the worst thing about Atlanta. It practically has just about anything you want to do here. There’s so much opportunity, connections, and things to do and that’s what makes Atlanta amazing. it’s also what attracts people from every corner of the world here, and to that, I say WE ARE FULL.
Many people are coming here and it has had a big impact on the real estate market, the traffic, even the wait times at the grocery store. It’s the unfortunate side-effect of being an amazing destination.
