Meet Sha’Ron Robertson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sha’Ron Robertson.

Sha’Ron, let’s start with your story. We’d love to hear how you got started and how the journey has been so far.
I grew up in a family of entertainers, entrepreneurs, authors and artists. My family invests in all areas of real estate and has taught me to be an entrepreneur since I was a small child. At a young age of 3, I was already selling cookies inspired by my nickname Princess. The cookies were named “Princess Cookies.” By the time I entered elementary school, I was selling cookies and all types of baked goods and candy. In junior high, I had started on my first book and wrote tons of poetry. As a freshman in high school, I created my gossip and news platform and created the website for it as well. By junior year I was taking professional pictures and started doing graphic art design. Senior year, I started my own business in doing company logos, websites, flyers and digital portraits.

Now I am in college and have my own website called SHOPSRDESIGNS.COM, where I sell unique and custom clothing and have my own natural and organic cosmetic line called “In the nude cosmetics” being sold at SHOPINTHENUDECOSMETICS.COM. These two new endeavors only add to my previous ventures that I have been doing for many years now with my digital art and business services.

In 2019 my art pieces were selected to be apart of Barrio Panther Magazine Vol. 3. Along with this, my art was also featured at the Border Tuner, a two-week art installation that connects the El Paso/Juarez border through sound, light, and video. After this, my art was also placed in Brave voices literary & art magazine for their 4th issue. Throughout 2020 I am planning to continue to submit my art and poetry to galleries and magazines, so everyone, please be on the look out for new placements and support all my ventures moving forward! I greatly appreciate everyone that has supported me throughout my life and my career.

Has it been a smooth road?
I have had many struggles growing up even though my beginnings were amazing. I lost my grandmother by the age of 9, which was a huge supporter of me, and that meant so much to me. I was doing so well at the time in school as I was on basketball and track team. I was also the president of my student council at the time. I went through a deep depression at that time, and it seemed like my life was spiraling out of control. In 2011 my family was going through a fraudulent foreclosure lawsuit with Chase bank in which we had so many wrongful things happen to us within that lawsuit. We were thrown out of our home years ago and lost all our possessions and are currently in a lawsuit with them trying to settle to gain some form of compensation for what we have lost. You can go to 5751timberlaneroadmattesonfraudforeclsoure.com to learn more. I have now become a strong advocate for others that have lost their home through fraud and I volunteer to help provide platforms for people to speak of their situation and my family also helps people find legal guidance for those who may need help and don’t know where to go. We want to give that emotional support and spiritual support needed in truly troubling times.

My family in the year of 2016-2017 lost 6 of my family members in 6 months and all of this through my whole family for a loop. I had to try to step up and be an adult to help my family the best I could at the time. My dad and my mom were amazing and always found a way to get things back in order even though the chaos in which I learned myself how to rise to the challenge through adversity. All the things I have been through made me who I am today, an independent and strong businesswoman who does not back down from challenges.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
I own a clothing company (Shopsrdesigns.com), a cosmetic line (Shopinthenudecosmetics.com), and a graphic design company (SR DESIGNS). I am known for being an entrepreneur, whether it be art, graphic design or any of my other various business ventures.

I am most proud of one of the clothing designs that I released last year from ShopSRDesigns.com. At the end of 2019, the design went viral on Twitter and reached about 1 Million users. This was a huge step for my business and really took my business to the next level. Since then, my website has received an estimate of at least 2,000 visitors a day and 30,000 since the release of that design.

What sets my business apart from others is that I offer such a large variety of different services for my customers and clients, which is something many other business owners can’t do because they lack the knowledge and know-how to get it done.

Also, I am currently offering new real estate services because my family has been in business for the past 20 years. Before them, my grandparents have been doing real estate and investing. My mother is a real estate broker, and investor, and my father is a general contractor and investor. They own several real estate business organizations in which they offer a one-stop-shop for all clients to become homeowners or investors, no matter their credit history. I am currently doing a fix and flip of a five bedroom two bath home in which I was a part of the full rehab of the property and am very proud of my work. I am using my creativity to design this home and am working on adding those servicing to my business for my customers and clients as well.

I believe you should use all the gifts that were given to you by the divine creator to find your path in life, and if you can find your way and your passion, then the money will come easy. I don’t make moves solely about money. I make moves about what feels right in my spirit and my soul. I only want to attract positive energy, so I try to make sure I put positive energy out into the universe, and this has paid off greatly. I have been so humbled by all of my experiences, whether positive or negative in life and am just so grateful to have been blessed to make it through all of them unscathed.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
I am located out of Illinois in the south suburbs of Chicago. About 99% of my business comes from my websites and word of mouth from doing business with other clients and customers. Therefore, I work with clients and customers, not only nationwide but internationally as well. If someone were starting, I would tell them to place their business in a location where it would flourish. If you need a brick and mortar, then you must understand your product/service and your market to see if your location is the right fit. If the location is not right for your business, and if this is your passion, go to where your business would have the best chance at being successful.

If, for some reason, you can not afford to place your business in the ideal location that is prime for your business to succeed, then work with what you have. I would tell that person to come with strategic and comprehensive marketing and advertising plan which would attract their target market to their location. It would also be in the entrepreneur’s best interest to add a website that lists products and services that can be bought nationwide if not internationally and you are bound to succeed with the right buzz.
