Today we’d like to introduce you to Solomon James.
Thanks for sharing your story with us, Solomon. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
I was born and raised in Charleston, SC. I was introduced to music from an early age started playing the piano at the age of six. As I grew older, my passion for music grew, and I was always intrigued and loved everything to do with music and production. I moved To Atlanta, GA in June of 2006 to Pursue my Bachelors in Audio Engineering & Production at the Art Institute of Atlanta. And pursued my MBA Degree at Argosy University.
I went on My first tour in 2006 as Music Director and keys Player For country Band The Griffith Family, Then From there went on to do a host of other tours and Productions for various artists and companies across different Genres. I Started my Production and Pro Audio/Visual company in 2010 as a producer and Engineer do various small projects and installation services in South Carolina and Georgia.
Has it been a smooth road?
It has not always been a smooth road. This industry is a very tough industry to actually get in and establish yourself. I have invested and lost money into building my company and network of clients for over the last 15 years, and I’m still building. I’ve had to rebrand my company twice. But all of my failures and Experiences as a musician and Engineer are starting to pay off now, ten years later. One thing about the music and Entertainment industry, as well as the Pro A/V industry, is that technology is always changing and you have to stay a student and always be willing to change and adapt and grow. Also, you learn to never let your imagination and creativity die.
We’d love to hear more about your business.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is an amazing place for anyone with a business that caters to Musicians, Artist and Creatives in the Entertainment industry. I would definitely recommend someone to start their company here in Atlanta because this industry is really starting to grow and Boom here and it’s a lot of opportunities. My advice is to always be open to networking and establishing relationships with others in the industry.
