Meet Stormy Curtis of Buy Georgia Realty

Today we’d like to introduce you to Stormy Curtis.

Stormy, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I was born in Illinois, and moved to Georgia at the age of 4. I have lived all over Georgia in 32 years. I am married to my high school sweetheart, James Curtis, whom I love with all my heart. We’ve been happily married for 10 years and we have been together for eight-teen years. We have a daughter named Aloura and a son named Ayden. Both have my Heart.

6 years ago, when I had Ayden, I was unable to go back into the workforce, so I developed a company in my area known for community publishing and event coordinating – Paulding County Uncensored. Paulding County Uncensored was born out of the need for the citizens of Paulding County to be aware of the different Community Events and happenings in this county. Through our Community Outreach, I strive to arm the citizens with knowledge, about our Community. So, I started as a Facebook page, grew to an informative website, and then I started creating events in our area that brought in thousands of people who wanted more for the area. Paulding County Uncensored’s mission is to promote, support, and improve Paulding County, to also have more involvement in our community and showcase Paulding County to its highest potential.

With Paulding County Uncensored, I started to really see growth in different areas in Georgia overtime. So, I got my real estate license and started to work for Vineyard Real Estate Group under the name Buy Georgia Realty. I have had multiple closings, and a few seminars educating communities on how to buy and sell homes. I believe knowledge is power so I have worked closely with people experienced in their profession (inspectors, insurance, lender, attorney) to make the seminars successful and all my closings as smooth as possible.

Whether someone is looking to buy, sell, rent, or invest, I can help them on their journey! I understand that they’re not just buying a property, but they’re buying a home that needs to mold perfectly into their lifestyle, and it is my goal to make sure it’s just right for them.

My passion for real estate continuously motivates me to always do the best, so I am able to build a lasting relationship with clients. I truly enjoy seeing and sharing the process from beginning to end by removing the worry that may come along during such a big decision. I keep my clients informed every step of the way ensuring they know I am there for them, listening to them, and making their best interests my top priority.

Has it been a smooth road?
Real Estate is a roller coaster ride of emotions. It’s widely recognized that any kind of sales position comes with a certain degree of stress. While it’s not the same stress that military personnel, police, fire, doctors, or nurses encounter, it’s mentally exhausting in its own right.

Real Estate is an industry that never sleeps, and the fear of losing opportunities by taking a break — even for a few hours — is overwhelming.

When it comes to real estate there’s a lot of money on the table, which tends to bring out the worst in people. You’ll take a lot of the blame for things outside of your responsibility, but that’s the nature of the business.

  • Seller’s Agent – I will help any and all homeowners sell their home.
  • Buyer’s Agent – I will guide you through your home-buying transaction and be at your disposal for any questions or concerns. (Find property, negotiate, and prepare paperwork).

  • FREE Property Value Analysis – CMA (Comparative Market Analysis) – An evaluation of comparable properties that helps a seller to determine the fair market value. While this may seem like a straight-forward task, several factors & methods can affect the price.
  • Home Staging – I offer complimentary tweaking of the major deal breaker areas: Kitchen, Bathroom(s) and Dining Area. If you want to sell your home faster, Stage it!
  • Seminars – I will educate you, your staff, friends, family, etc. on the best approach to Buying and Selling a Home. Knowledge is power and why not learn before you make one of the biggest decisions of your life.

Is our city a good place to do what you do?
Atlanta is, perhaps, most famous for its tall buildings and architecture, but it’s also home to homegrown Atlanta chains. Thousands of people are moving to metro Atlanta from around the country, increasing the population. Also, Atlanta’s thriving entertainment industry has been rapidly growing which increases our population. Growth brings business in my industry.
