Susan, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been a wedding planner for the past 23 years, even before there were movies and reality wedding shows. I began my wedding planning career by a chance meeting. I was providing wedding ceremony music, as I have a degree in music, when I met the couple’s wedding planner. I was fascinated by her job and she was the first wedding planner I had met. We talked in depth about her wedding business and she subsequently trained me in the skills of being a wedding planner. She hired me to work with her and I took over her business when she moved out of the Atlanta area.
Has it been a smooth road?
Since I have been a planner for so many years, we are connected with many wonderful vendors and venues. Wedding and wedding budgets go hand-in-hand with our economy. Families were definitely cutting back on their budgets in 2008 and for several years following. However, in the past few years, weddings seem to have grown from a single day event (wedding day) to an entire weekend of events!

We are a full-service wedding planning company! We offer services from the engagement through the end of the wedding weekend. We have a network of trusted vendors that provide excellent service and products. We are very service oriented and I am most proud of the consistent and fine quality of our planning and coordinating services. We often plan multiple weddings within the family & love seeing our clients and their family members at other family weddings. We have planners in all age groups and that allows us to approach the wedding from many different perspectives
Let’s touch on your thoughts about our city – what do you like the most and least?
We love the diversity of Metro Atlanta and there is a perfect venue for every wedding or party! We like traffic the least about Atlanta, but that’s our life in Atlanta.
