Today we’d like to introduce you to Tatiyanna Askew.
Tatiyanna, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I grew up being the crazy weird kid while being the hell raiser, I got into a lot of trouble in school and at home and I was a roadrunner aka i was always in the neighborhood doing thing I wasn’t suppose too then one day I had a bad drug accident watch a friend die and my world was heading down hill I was in and out of school and mental hospitals I always had talent for hair arts makeup music and much more but I didn’t use it until I hit rock bottom that when I moved back to Atlanta I was stuck in Florida I was known as the youngest cosmetologist to work in a beauty bar in Atlanta that was I don’t feel special anymore but I had an Epiphany one day I started modeling I start getting into little stuff here and there around the city trying to make myself trying to be known just networking beyond people and people I eventually started going out to be the extras for television shows or music events and wearing clothing brands stuff like that I’m still growing as a person and as a business person because I’m a young entrepreneur in the city but Atlanta is going to know Tada🧞♀️
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
My main struggle was staying focus I was already different and being able to sell myself as a brand and as a person to show that you know I have a different technique when approaching the business world and personal world I like to build a relationship with anyone or any situation I’m in because the experiences Key with anyone or any situation I’m in because the experience is Key working with people is key knowing what your Worth is and knowing where you want to be how you want to get there is Key and I’m ready to open the door to success.
We’d love to hear more about your work and what you are currently focused on. What else should we know?
I’m known for my cosmetology skills as well as modeling acting in art and music I’m really big on the entertainment industry I really want to dive deep into that because that’s one of my main passion but I do offer a range of things anything I set my mind to I can do I will be able to offer this service What makes me most proud about my business is that I am my business I am my key to success it’s all about how I train myself to get to where I need to go and where I want to be what sets me apart from others is I come from relatable standpoint I can relate to any situation I’m very adaptable to any situation and I’m willing to work with anything and I’m up for the challenge thats ahead I make sure I always put my best foot forward.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Success is how you plan out your future and the risk you’re willing to take to get to where you want to be in life if you’re not determined not persistent or you’re not ready for a change and ready to take on the challenges then your not ready to be successful in my opinion.
