Today we’d like to introduce you to Te’Arra Hall.
Te’Arra, before we jump into specific questions about your work, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story
It all started at the age of 14. I inadvertently developed a knack for digital marketing on Twitter. As I honed my skill in that area, I was able to grow my Twitter following from 0 to 100 thousand followers in just a mere eight-month period. I did not go into this endeavor with a strategic purpose. It was something I found enjoyable and had fun with. It was more of social proof that I could amass a large amount of Twitter followers. I didn’t realize going into it, the power of having such a massive following would help lend me my first online marketing job, with which I was able to earn between $300 and $1000 per week, and ultimately put me on a path to a career in digital marketing.
Once I realized the power of my Twitter following and my position on social platforms, I started to work a lot more passionately. I experienced some setbacks during that time, however. The company I was collaborating with closed, and I was devastated. I continued to work very hard, and I had a lot of late nights, sometimes up to 3 in the morning on a school night and all, where I was working to make sure I completed my tasks. It wasn’t very easy, but I persevered because I continued to be dedicated, passionate, and optimistic.
I told myself that my hard work would not let me down, and I was right. A few years later, I went to college and received my Bachelor’s degree in business management. This helped me get a managerial position, but after a time I realized that the 9 to 5 work schedule was not for me, so I had faith in my abilities and dedication, and quit that job.
I ended up getting my real estate license, and ever since then, things have been fantastic. I knew I had found my calling in life, and everything became clearer. This experience led me to revitalize my cravings in growing my social engagement and my platform. Now, I am launching my own digital marketing company, and I am more excited than ever.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has most certainly not always been a smooth road! But I am the type of person that tries to see the good in every situation. I recognize, of course that there will be struggles along the way, and there cannot always be sunny days. But I do believe that struggle breeds success, and without failures along the way, we don’t fully learn what success is. Early on, I struggled quite a bit. But I kept my eyes on my dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur, and that helped me through a lot of the struggles. Failure hurts, but you cannot let it stop you or define you. Failure should be used as a tool to help you learn to avoid past errors and take new, innovative approaches to achieve success. You must convert the failure into the proverbial bricks that you then use to build up the foundation of your future success.
Please tell us about your work.
I am a full-time Realtor with eXp Realty (TH & Associates). I dedicate most of my time to real estate. I love engaging with and educating my clients as they consider making one of the biggest purchases in their lives. I love seeing their excitement as they move through the home buying/selling process, and I do my best to keep a positive light on their experience the whole way through. Even when things are not working out, or even crumbling down around them, I always try to help them find the light in the darkest of times. I specialize in RESULTS and I am known for my integrity.
As I am passionate and resilient by nature, I take great pride in making sure that my clients are well informed and that they always get what is in their best interest. My dedication to the process makes this not very challenging for me.
As far as my digital marketing agency that I am diligently working on launching, we will display similar passion and dedication to everything that we do. We will be focusing on hacking growth; in other words, we want to present strategies to a business to help it grow and prosper as much as possible.
While the marketing of the past was just about getting ads on billboards, that is not our focus. We recognize that we must stay contemporary to the times, and in this day and age, digital marketing is at the forefront of the marketing world. I have a fantastic team of people who can tell great stories through their artful marketing prowess through a screen. Our team members are passionate experts in the digital realm. They also recognize that communication is key. We are experts at providing leads, SEO, and any other helpful strategy through our digital marketing platform. Therefore we confidently guarantee to add value to your business and be able to take it to the next level.
Is there a characteristic or quality that you feel is essential to success?
My gratitude, humility, drive, and determination is highly important to my journey. Oh, and I can’t forget about optimism!! Optimism is definitely important because it is the faith that leads to achievement!
