Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Huff.
Tiffany, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Dainty Treats & Design started off as a hobby growing up, I was always creative whether it was music, writing, or designing different things.
In 2018, I came across a few different YouTube channels of people designing different party needs such as invitations, custom favors, and themed treats. I quickly fell in love with the entire process and started to try everything I possibly could. I spent all my free time practicing dipping candy apples, pressing t-shirts, designing in photoshop, assembling favors, etc.
Fast-forwarding to the beginning of 2019, I offered to help a close friend with her wedding. I designed her bridal shower invitations, wedding invitations, bridesmaid boxes, t-shirts, and a few other items. She loved the outcome of everything, so from there I offered to help a few other friends with their upcoming events as well. I eventually became the “go-to” person for my friends and family events. I started to receive so many orders that by the end of 2019, I decided to make my business official and Dainty Treats & Design was born! Now in 2022, we have found our niche which is custom treats, party favors, and designs!
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey have been a fairly smooth road?
A big struggle in my business was building the confidence to promote outside of friends and family. I was always worried about not meeting my potential customers’ expectations and my product pricing being too high or too low, which lead me to run away from putting myself out there.
Another struggle was being disciplined. Even though a lot of people get into entrepreneurship because they want to “be their own boss,” it takes a great amount of discipline on your part in order for your business to survive. You have to push through even when you don’t have any support, feeling tired, sick, unmotivated, or just over the whole business itself.
So, this road to success has definitely not been smooth or easy, but when you finally decide to take a leap of faith, the journey will be worthwhile.

Dainty Treats & Design is a business that offers customized items for all event needs. We are known for taking a client’s idea no matter how big or small and turning it into reality. We specialize in themed treats, party favors, and designs. What sets us apart from others is our ability to focus on all details no matter how big or small. Sometimes those small details will take your event from good to exceptional! We are most proud of the joy we bring each client when they receive their order for their event. We take pride in our work and it definitely shows in our finished product. We are truly THE treat and party design specialists.
Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
To be successful in business or life, you have to take risks. If you stay in your comfort zone, you will never reach your full potential. I take a risk every day by running a business. If you work a regular 9-5 job, you’re guaranteed a paycheck as long as you clock in and go to work every day. However, running a business is completely different. You never know if you’ll reach your financial targets for that day, week, month, or even year. The only way to succeed is by stepping out on faith, working hard, and speaking positive affirmations over your business every day. It may seem scary, but you are sure to be rewarded for your efforts!
