Meet Tiffany Wilson of Aah’Shea

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tiffany Wilson.

Hi Tiffany, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Aah’Shea is a family-owned business whose mission is to provide moisturizing plant-based products that are made for the entire family. Our journey began when two members of our family battled constant dry and itchy skin from eczema. We were tired of the chemicals and steroids prescribed by doctors and over the counter medicines and needed a natural alternative.

We began crafting our body cream primarily for the two of us battling eczema but wanted a cream that everyone in the family could use. We used our body cream within our family for about two years before we decided to launch a business and expand the product line.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road of entrepreneurship definitely has hills and valleys along the way! One of the major struggles we faced was the digital marketing world. My husband and I grew up in a time of traditional marketing and digital marketing for a business was brand new world to us that we had to learn and still are learning. We had a few other bumps along the way just as many other small businesses face. But we keep pushing along learning and growing.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
Our skincare collection is a natural skincare line with shea butter as the base ingredient. What sets us apart is that we offer our collection in essential oil scents for those who have sensitive skin and we offer fragrant scents. We gear our products to women, men, and children because everyone in the family can use our collection.

We also offer bundles with a discount to our customers and we offer customized gift bundles that allow the client to customize labels and scents for those important events and gatherings.

How do you think about luck?
We don’t believe in “luck” but we do believe in what God has planned for us. Everything that has happened regarding our business growth has been organic and in God’s plan and we welcome each stage of it.
