Meet Tionta Witherspoon of Vegasworldinatl in Southwest

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tionta Witherspoon.

Tionta, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Welcome to Vegasworldinatl. I always knew within my heart that I would be my own boss one day. My hopes, dreams and aspirations pushed me out of a regular 9 to 5 atmosphere once I felt unappreciated. I used to work for Delta as a banquet server/cashier. One day when I was denied my benefits I walked away and I asked God to give me a job with purpose. This is how I started VegasWorldinAtl four years ago. A divine vision of wanting to give the “Under Priviledge Voices”, “Indie Artist’s” and “All Talent” a platform to shine. God, told me that “this is going to be bigger than me “so get ready.”

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
No, because when you step out on faith in a business that has so much competition, it is never a smooth road. My biggest struggles along the way was not being supported by my family, shady business partners, demanding my respect and learning who to give God’s gift to.

We’d love to hear more about your business.
Vegasworldinatl is a one stop shop. I am a Dynamic Host, Promoter, Production Manager, Motivational Speaker, Model, Content Creator, Booking Agent, Event Planner, and Founder of Vegas (Indie) Streets (Radio Show) and Vegasnites (Open Mic Showcase) for Indie Artist. I can produce, organize, coordinate and arranged any type of show/event. I am proud to say that Vegasworldinatl will be around for a long time because it is a gift that keeps on giving. What sets me apart from my competition is my purpose. This is not a job; it is a requirement to be “Used” by God “to bless others”.

What were you like growing up?
I was very funny, outgoing and I knew that I loved people but I grew up an introvert. My family was not filled with love, attention or affection so I rebelled in the wrong way. I got into a lot of trouble and made terrible decisions. Leaving home at the age of 13, I never looked back. My story is a testimony that I will be sharing in my Autobiography book called “Disconnected From This World” the Untold story.
