Today we’d like to introduce you to Tony and Bridget Charles.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Tony and Bridget. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Taylormade Film Company is a full-service production company that was established in 2017. The company was formed with the goal of providing opportunities and services to individuals and companies regardless of their size or status in the industry.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has not been a smooth road by any means. The greatest struggles and challenges thus-far have been finding reliable, capable, honest crew personnel.
Please tell us about Taylormade Film Company.
We are a full-service production company who specializes in short films, feature films, documentaries, weddings, and commercials. We also offer services such as reels for film industry professionals, web series development and company training videos.
The company name was derived from our daughter’s name, Taylor – who is an avid lover of the arts and a theater enthusiast. Like our daughter, we quickly realized that many of her peers had a similar love for film, television, and theater – however, many lacked the platform to showcase it. We are most proud of the fact that we are leaving a legacy for her while providing opportunities to others.
I (Tony) started in the film industry when I resided in New York and once I relocated to Atlanta, I quickly jumped back in the industry.
While working on several big budget movies, I realized that everyone should have the opportunity to showcase their talents without any constraints; including but not limited to budget size, their network or their demographics.
Most recently, we had the opportunity to premiere the pilot episode of our latest film, entitled “Office Secrets.” Office Secrets is about a family-owned technology company (Figitec) where the president of the company, a ruthless character is found unresponsive at the office and later pronounced dead. Most recently, the question that everyone has been asking is “who did it” (who committed the murder)? The answer? They will have to continue to follow us to find out! Office Secrets was written and produced by Tony and Bridget Charles and Directed by Tony Charles.
What’s next? We are gearing up to shoot episode 2 of Office Secrets along with several other pilots. What should viewers know? We are always seeking new, qualified talent and crew. Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
(Tony) – My favorite childhood memory was performing in front of a large audience at a very young age. I quickly realized that the world was my stage and that there were no limits!
(Bridget) – My favorite childhood memory was going to see Broadway shows in New York City. I loved the bright lights, incredible talent and costumes.
