Angel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I’ve always been a creative soul. In 2014, a tragedy struck my family And I became a SAHM. As a SAHM, I began to explore my creativity much more than usual. I started my business customizing wall letters, gift baskets, fluffy sandals, and bedazzled sandals. As time progressed, I developed an interest in party planning. My first debut was my son’s sixth birthday party. It was this event that landed me my first booking outside of family and friends. My event planning journey has not been a walk in the park. However, the trial and error instances along with support from my kids, fiancé, family, & friends have been a key component to my evolvement. Angelic Adornments is rapidly becoming a one-stop shop for all event needs. We now offer decor for all events, customized treats, character rental, concession rental, and moonwalk rental.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The balance of motherhood and business owner is no walk in the park but it is worth the walk. My best advice is to stay surrounded by love and have the greatest faith in yourself.

I take the stairs with every event. I never shortcut people or try to get over on people. I pride our business on being a versatile party planning service. What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
Never give up no matter how hard your journey may be. Always remember regrouping is a necessity when feeling overwhelmed but always keep going.
