Meet Trailblazer Ariel G. Chen

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ariel G. Chen.

Ariel, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
Growing up I allowed myself to adapt to all situations using a creative pallet. Meaning emphasizing the experience with color, texture, style, and trends. Even throughout my home, I placed items and designed each room in a crafted way that matched my personality and read eclectically. That sort of technique was where the start of The Crafted Chen stemmed from. Friends family and colleagues noticed this crafted desire so I decided to kick it up a notch and start my own business that reflected all things I enjoyed home, lifestyle, Interior design and entrepreneurship. Each of these areas focused on true desires and passions which are reflected through The Crafted Chen brand.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Over the years, my desire to design has gotten deeper because of the journey life has thrown my way. The road was far from smooth and the ups and downs came along as I was attempting to figure out which direction I wanted to commit to as far as a career. I personally believe that if there’s no struggle, then the gift won’t be cherished as a success.

It took years to get the courage to start The Crafted Chen and the journey has been purposeful once I found the right formula to produce. However, this current formula doesn’t mean it will be the same for future success. “Always evolve while pushing yourself to find what works best for you”.

Interior design has been a passionate place in my heart as well as a great learning experience. Nonetheless, struggles project themselves as I learn more about the industry to grow my brand, but it only shows me that it is obtainable once I overcome that hurdle.

I am the owner and principal designer of The Crafted Chen, LLC a home + lifestyle | interior design | entrepreneur business based in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. I work closely with Atlanta, North Carolina, New York, and Florida clients where I provide interior and exterior home services. In addition to interior design services. I provide quality crafted home and lifestyle items such as a luxury decorative pillow collection, totes, hats, and decorative table accessories for the office and home.

The Crafted Chen is delighted to share with clients a secret about furnishing their house while turning it into a home. We motivate individuals to communicate with us about their home + lifestyle interest so we can bring a crafted

I truly enjoy watching YouTube videos to learn from virtual mentors like Oprah Winfrey, Karin Bohn, and Robeson Design. I also enjoy skimming through a website called Waiting On Martha to learn how I can elevate The Crafted Chen brand to grow into bigger and better. Last, Melissa Mitchell from Abeille Creations and Monique Mitchell, Sr. Public Relations at Cartoon Network are both personal

resources I connect with for encouragement and enlightenment.
