

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaycie Mirabella.
Jaycie, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I have been licensed in real estate since 2009. For several years, I held a license but didn’t do much with it. I was primarily staying at home with my young children at the time. Once both of my kids started school, I decided to go back to work full-time. I joined Keller Williams Realty Consultants in Roswell and founded by real estate company, Mirabella Homes in 2015 and haven’t looked back! I have worked hard to grow the team over the years and I now have a marketing manager and buyer’s agent who work on my team. Since starting in 2015, I have been recognized as a Top Producer with the Atlanta Board of Realtors every year. I have also served on the Agent Leadership Council at my Keller Williams office.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Growing a business is hard work. Period. It doesn’t matter if you are single, married, kids, no kids, whatever… it’s just hard! It takes a lot of perseverance and grit. That’s what I always tell people. It’s a learn as you go thing. You will make mistakes. The key is to just learn from them and move forward. When something isn’t working, make changes. The key for me has been focusing on adding one new thing to my business that I’m focused on each year. That keeps me focused and it helps me feel like I’m accomplishing something when there are a ton of other things I feel I’m not accomplishing. The bottom line, you can’t do it all, so focus on one thing and do it well. For moms out there, just remember that you are setting an example for your kids. They are getting to see you work hard and build something. My kids love to be involved in my business, so I try to involve them whenever I can. I also create time that is just focused on them. If it’s a family day, then it’s a family day… no work allowed! Block off time for work and for family and that will help you feel more balanced.

What’s the most important piece of advice you could give to a young woman just starting her career?
You can do it! I think encouragement is the number one thing people need to hear. You will have a lot of doubts, but you can do it and you will do it if you treat people well, stay focused and work hard. Success is not easy, but it is simple. Find someone that is doing what you want to do and doing it well and model what they are doing. If you are passionate about something, you will do whatever it takes to achieve it. Just stay focused and don’t give up!!
