Meet Trailblazer Tenesha Robinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tenesha Robinson.

Tenesha, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
My background is sort of diverse but still all very related. I have been in sales, project management, mental health and the military. All my previous roles have lent me experience in being extremely organized and detail oriented. My degrees are in psychology, BA in Psychology and MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. After having those job experiences coupled with schooling, I figured why not give other millennial entrepreneurs tips on how to navigate their way to curating and living their ideal lifestyle. About a year and a half ago, I came up with the idea for Clatchet Millepreneur, a blog. Clatchet means classy and ratchets while Millepreneur is the conjunction of a millennial entrepreneur. Through this process, I was also able to start a personal consulting business where I help clients plan and organize their lives.

Has it been a smooth road?
Ha! I wish it was smooth, but then again I would not have learned as much as I did along the way. My main struggle was dealing with not knowing exactly what it is I was supposed to be doing. My advice for young women would be to take your time, not knowing is definitely part of the process. Don’t stress yourself out trying to get the money because it will only further confuse you with your vision.

We’d love to hear more about Clatchet Millepreneur.
I am a blogger and Lifestyle Curator (Consultant). I help my clients to first figure out what they want in life and then help them take the necessary steps to achieving it. I am known for my OCD levels of an organization. If it exists, I can organize it. I am most proud of my brand’s mission to help people where they are. Rather than berating someone for what they do not know, we meet them where they are and find the most relatable way to help them elevate. I think what sets me apart is my logistics background in different industries.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mom: She raised me and my 2 siblings by herself for most of my life. While doing so she was also able to move from the Virgin Islands to Georgia, and achieve an Associates, Bachelors, then Masters degree.

Michelle Obama: Firstly, her ability to raise an upstanding (black) family in the public eye while her husband held the highest seat in the US government. I am also inspired by her dedication and love for the people of America through the many campaigns that she has spearheaded throughout her career.

Oprah: According to my friends, I’m Baby O. I think that for all the things she has done in her lifetime, she can do no wrong. However, the main thing that has resonated with me was her opening the school in Africa for those young women. I aspire to do something similar, but for the homeless women here in America.
