Today we’d like to introduce you to Trina Crawford.
Trina, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I found my passion in high school in a visual art class. Then I further my education in college and got an Associate Degree in graphic design. From there, I started working at a few local portrait studios. When my store chain closed all their stores down, I knew it was time to start my own business from all the things that I learned.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been a smooth road. I had to learn that I have to wear many hats to run my company and also learn to trust other people with your vision so that it can come true.
So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Royal Images Plus story. Tell us more about the business.
We are Royal Images Plus, located in the heart of Decatur, Georgia. We are a creative digital photography company with more than 15 years of shooting experience. We provide a wide range of services. It is extremely rewarding to inspire people with our images. We devote our time taking quality photographs for all your individual and event needs, from weddings to family portraits, photo booth services and school event.
Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
Good luck because I was able to start my business with a lot of help from family and friends. Getting laid off allowed me to do that.
