Today we’d like to introduce you to Victor Bomi.
Victor, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
I am a Nigerian American Entrepreneur who is passionate about inspiring others to follow their dreams. I came to this country at the young age of 6 years old from Lagos, Nigeria. I have always been a very adventurous and open-minded person – who enjoyed using my creative skills to bring my visions to life. I got started in business when I was 20 years old – by joining a few network marketing companies. Although I had little success with those ventures – the biggest thing those companies did for me was to change my mindset and outlook on life. I learned that we have the power to design the lifestyles we want in life, retire when we want in life, and take control of our financial futures. I also read the book Rich Dad Poor Dad which taught me the importance of Business Ownership and Investing.
These two major life events are what changed my life, shaped my perspective for the better and helped me get on the track I am on now. I was also in school at the time studying Pre-Med biology with the intention of becoming a doctor – but soon realized my passion was for business. Around the year 2012, I began my real estate company and journey into the real estate industry. At this same time, I was also doing a bit of business consulting, business development, and pr for a few small business owners and friends I knew. I really enjoy business and the world of business always seemed like a natural fit for me; so in the year 2013, I decided to take a gap year to really decide what I want to do with my life and figure out my goals.
As a result of this decision, I was able to fully focus on my real estate company and business ventures and it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. I decided to go back to college in 2014 and get my Bachelors of Business degree in Finance from the University of West Georgia (I chose finance because I am also passionate about financial literacy and wanted to understand all the different types of asset classes used to create wealth). After I graduated I have since been able to start multiple businesses mostly related to real estate investing and financial planning. Some other things that I have done is speak at colleges, high schools, and elementary youth on the importance of entrepreneurship and financial literacy.
These are things that I wish someone would have come to talk to me about even at a very young age – it would have sparked something in me and that is why I aim to do that for the upcoming next generation. I have had the opportunity to close several millions of dollars worth of real estate transactions and it is only because I believed in myself and my abilities. There are a lot of very talented people in this world who only need a little push and inspiration to go for their dreams, and I hope that through reading my story – (because I am just a young man who believes in himself) that I can get other young men and women to also believe in themselves too.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not always been a smooth road for me. There were times when I first started my company in which I questioned whether or not I was making the right decision. I did not always receive the support I expected even from some people around me who I thought where my friends/family. I have made a lot of money, lost it, then made it all back again and through it all, I have developed a strong mental fortitude and perseverance to never give up. I have had deals which I thought would close – fall apart at the very last minute and the list goes on and on.
The one thing I have learned from my failures is to always look at them as experiences and opportunities to come out better, stronger, and smarter to continue moving forward. I live my life by a very simple principle and that is “Embrace Your Journey”. This simple principle has helped me to keep my head up and stay positive even when everything around me seemed to be falling apart at times. I have been very blessed to build a lot of great relationships in my career as a business executive over the years and having a great quality circle of people is one of the reasons I have always been able to overcome my struggles.
The biggest reason however that I am able to overcome my obstacles is that I am a Man of Faith. I fully believe in the power of Jesus Christ and divine intervention. There are times when I think nothing can go right and all of a sudden God just blesses me out of nowhere – so I encourage anyone reading this to find the spiritual healer that will guide them through the rough times.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
The truth is I don’t really believe (fully) in good luck or bad luck. I believe that we create our luck in life as a result of our actions. There are times when great things happen in my life and my business and the first thing I do is Thank God for them.
There are times when bad things happen and I don’t necessarily blame it on bad luck but what I do, is evaluate the situation and see what I did wrong if there was something I could have done better to change the outcome then learn from the situation as much as I can.
