Meet Willie Millionare of Atlanta Hit Makers

Today we’d like to introduce you to Willie Millionare.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Willie. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
The Atlanta Hit Makers story starts out in a little studio on covington Hwy in Decatur, in a strip mall that would soon become a staple of a book of Talent! After departing from the Army, I wanted to work for myself and I wanted to make hits that people can dance to. So about 6 months after i open the studio, I had an artist come in and do a studio session with me. he recorded his song and then we got to chatting, He was saying that he made a few songs and he has 2 or 3 music videos but he didnt know who or where to send them for more exposure. This is where I came up with the ideal of Atlanta Hit Makers. About a week goes by, and things started falling in my lap! After i recorded my first show I was introduced to a guy by the name of James whom, at the time, was working for People TV in Atlanta, after watching my show, he said that he thought my show refreshing and it was a new way of get Artist exposure so i was offered a small content creator deal. The show in its 1st season took off. From that small production deal, it gave me a chance to expand to 4 other markets Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Los Angles as well as in Atlanta. Today Atlanta Hit Makers can be seen on Roku & Amazon Fire stick as well as in the previous mention cities.

Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
The road hasnt always been easy! In the early start up days I had to do all the work. I done so many networking events here in the south east region, as well as showing up to open mic competitions in the Atlanta area. For a while, getting artist to send their video was a challenge at first, but the more I put the word out about the service I offer the easier it becomes. For a while I also went through a period where i didnt know how I was going to get on TV but I did some research on the different stations here in Atlanta and i would call their office and try to get air time I dont think i need to tell you how that played out . All and all, I guess the hardest part of the whole job is selecting the videos for the weeks episode.I take video submissions till Wednesday, Thursday i do a live video selection which is done on IG live and by Friday I have to edit and clean up the final project and email it to the TV stations and the other outlets.

Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about ATLANTA HIT MAKERS – what should we know?
We are THE #1 independent music video countdown in the WORD! My business gives the independent artist who would like to have their music video featured on nation tv as well as various internet out lets. So in short, we take your music video and if your music video is hot, we place your video on our countdown. If your video makes the countdown we also use your single on our 2 radio shows which can be heard Monday on Lit420 Radio at 8pm and WPIR98.4 FM at Noon on Saturdays. We are known for taking the videos of artist and placing them on world wide platforms to be discovered music industry professionals. The most proud moment has to be the fact that my show featured Megan Thee Stallion very first video! i didn’t know who she was until one of the directors on the show came back and informed me that she was on the show. That and Ive had some legends on the show ranging from Petty Pablo, Ying Yang Twins and Stokley just to name a few. The thing that sets my show apart from all the shows that are like mine is we have support network for artist. We don’t just feature the artist music video my company place artist on radio shows and as well as booking artist for live performances.

Any shoutouts? Who else deserves credit in this story – who has played a meaningful role?
I have to say Ive built this empire from the ground up! There is someone that is always by my side, my right hand man King Spyda Man. Hes help me make smart decisions on the business aspect as well as help me plan out shots and locations to shoot at, he keeps me up to date of all the thins that happing in Atlanta. I have to say without Spyda I more than likely would have given up, he keeps me motivated to keep to see what the end is going to be. When he came over to the show it was in total chaos, but because spyda is extremely organized he came in implemented a process that I still use to this day!
