Hi Hannah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a 23-year-old MUA. I was born and raised in Houston Texas, I’ve always known I would be something in life but never in a hundred years did I think it would be makeup. Ever since I was 12 years old I would go and play in my mom’s makeup as any little girl would and hold on to a few products to practice from here and there, once I started getting the hang of things I wanted to start building up my own makeup kit with my own choice of products. I then started doing my mom’s makeup, her friends & even getting messages on my social media asking for makeup tutorials and services! I still didn’t take that as a sign to go for it, March 13, 2018 was one of the most life-testing days of my life. My mom had passed away & my whole life fell into shambles, but with the support of my loved ones I was helped back up and saw my purpose. I heard I small voice whisper to me one night “you know what to do”, I knew it was my mother speaking to me telling me to go for my dreams she’s always believed in me and was my biggest supporter when it came down to makeup, she always wanted this dream for me! Now I’m two years almost three years in the makeup industry and I wouldn’t want it no other way, the engagements I have with my clients the bond I build with them, the passion behind my success, the faith behind my business and the love I have for God will always keep me sane and prosperous. This is only the beginning!🦋
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
This journey of being a MUA is not easy, there will be ups and downs but you just have to keep faith. I know that might sound a little cliche but it’s the truth, if you don’t have faith in yourself no one else will. My advice to any upcoming makeup artist is to keep practicing, stay motivated & STAY CONSISTENT!

I specialize in Natural Glam’s, this Glam is my number one booked look! I’m more so proud of the fact that I’ve made a name for myself, the fact that you can mention my business in a room and people will know exactly who I am!
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up I was that goofy, corky but serious kid. I loved to be around friends and family and spending quality time with the people I love! I’ve always had girly interest with a tomboy attitude & look but I always had the nails, hair and the makeup on point!
