Today we’d like to introduce you to Jayla Franklin.
Hi Jayla, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, the world meets the next young female millionaire. I’m Jayla Imani Franklin, born and raised in Columbus, GA. Growing up in a household where ownership is heavily discussed should answer your questions on why I’m here today with the mindset of being an entrepreneur. My parents have pushed me to shoot for greatness and to aim for the stars. To get something you never had, you have to be willing to go through some things to get it. So as I present my brand to you, I’m doing it with a mindset to achieve every goal I have ever set for myself. Tomorrow will not be easy and today will never come again so today I put the world on notice on exactly who MS.CEO is. I’m here to give the world the best version of myself. Starting my first business at eleven years of age and being here to give you the sixteen-year-old version of myself is a blessing within. I want to thank you now for the love and support because without the support, my business is nothing. Again welcome you to my world.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Throughout the course of my path in entrepreneurship, the trials I have faced have been great and trying, however they only make me the stronger entrepreneur I continue to grow into. Especially when coming from a city where “POPULARITY” instead of “TALENT” is praised. As I continue my business ventures, the support and love from peers and family have been a very important part of my drive, yet many times the particular people I consider friends and even family lack in support for the success of my business! At times, this can cause great discouragement and even make me feel my hard work and tenacity is not noticed. I realize it is richly important to match the work I put in with my faith to truly work towards my “Rich Mentality”. My past Struggles with saving my earnings show why faith is not only important but vital and necessary. My faith keeps me grounded and pushes me to the next level, even when I feel like giving up. That’s why I fight so hard to keep the faith even when it’s hard and things look rough because faith is not what it looks like, but the hope and evidence of what cannot be seen.
Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I would describe my work as one, very much creative and two, very meaningful. The variety of different styles and colors that go into each and every shirt comes to show the creative aspect. As for the meaningful side, the name says it all “Rich Mentality.” It’s one thing everybody wants out of this world; to get RICH! To get rich, you must have the right MENTALITY to get up every morning and get it. I’ve learned that every day is a new day for you to get up, strive, and do better. So use that “go get it spirit” and go get it while having a RICH MENTALITY!
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My advice for new young entrepreneurs is to one believe in yourself and your craft. Support is going to come and go but you got to keep in mind your going to go big. Two, don’t let up, no matter what. You’re going to have nae-sayers and people who are going to down you but it’s called keeping your foot on their necks and not letting up for NOBODY!
