Rising Stars: Meet Pascal

Today we’d like to introduce you to Pascal.

Hi Pascal, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Since I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be in front of the camera. I went to NYU for my BFA in theater and film in hopes of becoming an actor. Fast forward to 2008, my father got sick so I moved back home. I started doing videography as a way to make ends meet but I eventually got tired of being behind the camera. I talked to my family and friends about it and they suggested I start my own talk show. Fast forward to now, I’ve been having my own show for almost the last 6 years and I love every minute of it.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
There are always struggles when working for yourself. Finding content to talk about daily can sometimes be a struggle. Keeping the audience engaged with consistent videos/interviews can be daunting as well.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I host and produce a variety talk show called The Pascal Show where we cover trending and controversial topics, conduct interviews, showcase skits/parodies and occasionally have musical performances. I’m most proud of the fact that I’m doing what I love. Most people don’t get to say that. My unique personality and heart set me apart from others and the fact that I work hard to understand people and their perspective on every subject.

We’d be interested to hear your thoughts on luck and what role, if any, you feel it’s played for you?
In my personal opinion, luck is when preparation meets opportunity. I do believe that hard work and consistency will always open doors for you.
